Restoule River Canoe Trip

Paddle the beautiful Restoule River with its pristine shorelines and soft flowing waters. Your experience will be unforgettable with plenty of wildlife to view; bring your camera. Paddle is 10.8KM return and rated easy. Includes lunch at MacArthur Rapids.

Mountian Bike Trip to Dokis Village

Bike through the friendly Dokis indigenous community. Your day includes a stop at the museum, pictures with local carvings, craft shops. Included is a short hike to the Historic French River Dams. Lunch included.

Rated easy with a 6KM route and 2 KM hike. Ask to upgrade to a moderate/difficult route of 35 KM bike tour over 3 waterfalls and bridges

Rocky Island Hike

Explore the rocky islands of the French River and learn about the local geology and natural history. Half Day and full day programs available. Rated easy.

Pa-Pa-Se Forest Hike

Explore the old-growth mixed forest of the Pa-Pa-Se (Pileated Woodpecker) and Mooze.

Learn about edible and medicinal plants, local wildlife, trees and their uses. Visit bear dens and beaver ponds.

Day includes stopping at an indigenous ceremonial lodge deep in the forest, where you will be immersed in nature and in tune with your animal spirit. Hike is moderate to difficult and not available between the months of May to July.

Maybe the best boat tour you ever had. You will be thrilled by the wonders that the French River has to offer. This part of the French River was called Ojick-Awa-Jick by our ancestors and it means the Spirit of the Living Child as the river carries many stories.

Meals provided. No alcohol permitted on the tour as we will be visiting sacred sites.

Guests are encouraged to bring “offerings” of coins or trinkets to place on offering shelves.

Fishing Day

Guided fishing day with focus on indigenous fishing techniques, stories, recipes, and ultimately the famous French River shore lunch feast.
